Hi all
I think we first years were all on a roller coaster ride for the methods module - hence you didn't hear much from us. I personally didn't experiment much with software in Methods. I was too busy trying to get to grips with the basic concepts…
I just made $1085 this week working from home for google. I cant believe how easy this is. Im recommending this to everyone, check out this guys google blog makemoneywith-google.com
hi Mary - sorry about the delay in responding, I haven't got into the habit of checking this ningy thingy. Hope all your plans work out and glad the new job in the old place is manageable. I suspect you are still working too hard! - just a quick hi in haste for the mo'....gotta prepare some teaching.
best,
Katharine
Woah! Mary! A totally customised page! I wasn't expecting that. Brilliant!
Anyway, I see you've discovered the attachments feature in the forums - great. I really haven't had chance to explore this Ning thing much yet, so I don't really know what it can and can't do. But I must say, I'm thrilled by the activity that's happening already!
xx Christine

Thanks Mary :-) I'm happy to share my critical commentary if you like... there must be a file sharing thing on here somewhere! I will investigate...
My current (admittedly fluid) thinking is that I would like to do a practice-based phd creating a series of lyric prose podcast soundscapes like the one I created for the fiction module (Always Thursday), exploring faith (specifically Christianity) online in social media. Very vague at the moment - just waiting for some feedback about the initial idea before I start trying to nail it down further!
Know what you mean about working taking over! I probably ought to be there now actually.... (I love flexitime!)
Hey Mary - great to hear from you! Certainly turning over ideas for PhD now... what are you thinking of doing next? Your dissertation was great in the end - sat watching it the other evening. Hope you are well after your travels!
love

hi Mary - things are good, I start a new job (back in Music academia, at City University in London) in January - I have mixed feelings, but hope it will work out! No, not hopping back on BB, I decided to withdraw from the course in the end after the taught modules - just didn't feel it was quite for me, at this stage.
